Fix it with Sawdust
ENG: The “Fix It with Sawdust!” workshop is a 3-hour program for pupils (12–14 years) to learn about sustainability, the circular economy (CE), and life cycle assessment (LCA) through a hands-on wood repair activity.
Instead of throwing away damaged wood, pupils will learn how to repair it using sawdust and glue, then reflect on how this action fits within CE and LCA principles.
The workshop combines theory (CE & LCA) with practical teamwork (wood repair + poster challenge) and group reflection.
GER: Der Workshop „Fix It with Sawdust!“ ist ein dreistündiges Programm für Schüler (12–14 Jahre), in dem sie anhand einer praktischen Holzreparaturaktivität etwas über Nachhaltigkeit, Kreislaufwirtschaft (CE) und Lebenszyklusanalyse (LCA) lernen.
Anstatt beschädigtes Holz wegzuwerfen, lernen die Schüler, wie sie es mit Sägemehl und Leim reparieren können, und reflektieren anschließend, wie diese Maßnahme zu den Prinzipien der Kreislaufwirtschaft und der Lebenszyklusanalyse passt.
Der Workshop verbindet Theorie (CE & LCA) mit praktischer Teamarbeit (Holzreparatur + Poster-Challenge) und Gruppenreflexion.
ITA: Il workshop “Fix It with Sawdust!” è un programma di 3 ore rivolto agli studenti (12-14 anni) per imparare la sostenibilità, l'economia circolare (CE) e la valutazione del ciclo di vita (LCA) attraverso un'attività pratica di riparazione del legno.
Invece di gettare via il legno danneggiato, gli studenti impareranno come ripararlo usando segatura e colla, per poi riflettere su come questa azione si inserisca nei principi della CE e della LCA.
Il workshop combina la teoria (CE e LCA) con il lavoro pratico di squadra (riparazione del legno + sfida poster) e la riflessione di gruppo.
