From Wood to Table
ENG: The "From Tree to Table" workshop is a 2-hour interactive session for pupils that explores the life cycle of wood products and sustainable design. Through engaging activities like wood strength tests, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) concepts, and a hands-on table-building challenge, pupils learn about environmental impacts, teamwork, and creative reuse while reflecting on eco-friendly choices.
GER: Der Workshop „Vom Baum auf den Tisch“ ist eine zweistündige interaktive Veranstaltung für Schüler, in der der Lebenszyklus von Holzprodukten und nachhaltiges Design behandelt werden. Durch spannende Aktivitäten wie Holzfestigkeitstests, Konzepte der Ökobilanz (LCA) und eine praktische Tischbau-Herausforderung lernen die Schüler etwas über Umweltauswirkungen, Teamarbeit und kreative Wiederverwendung und reflektieren gleichzeitig über umweltfreundliche Entscheidungen.
ITA: Il workshop “Dall'albero alla tavola” è una sessione interattiva di 2 ore per gli alunni che esplora il ciclo di vita dei prodotti in legno e il design sostenibile. Attraverso attività coinvolgenti come test di resistenza del legno, concetti di valutazione del ciclo di vita (LCA) e una sfida pratica di costruzione di tavoli, gli alunni imparano a conoscere l'impatto ambientale, il lavoro di squadra e il riutilizzo creativo, riflettendo al contempo sulle scelte eco-compatibili.
